Thin Red Line Chief Croker Firefighter T-shirt

This is our next addition to our new Vintage Collection. The Thin Red Line represents our nation’s brave full time and volunteer firefighters. The red symbolizes that last bit of strength and courage the individual firefighter must gather in order to save lives.
They don’t do it for the praise and it's certainly not for the pay. They do it because they love it. In the American Flag is a quote from FDNY Chief Croker (FDNY Chief of Department 1899-1911) which embodies what Firefighter's live and die for today. They do it because if they don’t, who will? It’s not their job on the line…it’s their life.
And yours....Now that's salty...

Quote reads:
"I have no ambition in this world but one, and that is to be a fireman. The position may, in the eyes of some, appear to be a lowly one; but we who know the work which the fireman has to do believe that his is a noble calling. Our proudest moment is to save lives."

*Printed on back of shirt
